Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. seeks a dedicated Lactation Consultant to strengthen maternal‑child health services across our communities in New Jersey.

You will help lead lactation programs, coordinate with nursing and medical teams, and drive evidence‑based practices that improve patient outcomes and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will hold a NJ RN license, have a minimum of three years in maternal‑child health nursing and lactation consulting, and demonstrate strong communication and

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Three years minimum in maternal-child health nursing.
• Three years minimum lactation consulting experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, organize, manage and develop lactation services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Minimum of three years experience in maternal-child health nursing;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in lactation consulting services.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, organize, manage and develop lactation services
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Master's Degree in Nursing.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
• BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.

Licenses and Certifications Preferred:
