Job summary

TMH is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with IBCLC credentials to provide and coordinate outpatient breastfeeding care at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. The role requires Florida RN licensure, CCNE/ACEN‑accredited nursing education, and IBCLC certification, with 2+ years RN and IBCLC experience.

• Two years RN experience and two years IBCLC experience.

Qualifications

Required Education:

• Associate degree (or equivalent) in nursing from a program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Required Experience:

• Two (2) years of registered nursing experience and two (2) years of International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) experience

Preferred Experience:

• Advanced lactation consultant training.
• Two (2) to five (5) years of obstetrical registered nursing experience.
• Five (5) years of lactation consult experience.

Required Certification/License/Registry:

• Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in accordance with Florida Statutes (F.S.), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I (Nurse Practice Act) [includes multistate compact licensure].
• IBCLC credential from the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE).
