Job summary

VCU Health is seeking Nursing professionals to provide direct patient care across clinical levels I–III within a multidisciplinary team. You will deliver age-appropriate nursing care, administer medications, and document care per medical orders and unit plans.

Clin I–III roles require Virginia RN licensure or eligibility, with RN to BSN progression expected for all non-Bachelor graduates; leadership and supervision duties are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible or compact state.
• Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing from an approved program.
• All RNs without a Bachelor’s degree must enroll in an approved RN to BSN program within two years and complete within five years.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, age-specific nursing care within an integrated plan of care.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for interactions or incompatibilities.
• Lead and supervise other staff on the unit as assigned by the Nurse Manager/Practice Manager.
