Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery and Postpartum in Wilson, NC. The nurse will support laboring mothers and newborns, monitor fetal status, and collaborate with the care team during the 13-week contract with shift patterns covering night and day care.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in L&D, active RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/NRP, and recent fetal monitoring training. Travel benefits, housing, and medical coverage are provided where eligible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience.
• Current RN licensure with BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications.
• Fetal monitoring class completed within the last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for laboring mothers and newborns during delivery and postpartum recovery.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and manage labor medications as necessary.
• Handle postpartum care and patient education for new families.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
