Job summary

Eastside Medical Center in Georgia seeks a Staff Nurse for our 13-bed antepartum unit. This role provides nursing care from birth through the lifecycle and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to meet AWHONN standards.

The unit features 1:2 laboring patients, 1:1 active labor or C-section, and 1:3 antepartum coverage, with 24/7 hospitalist support. New graduates are welcome and licensure in Georgia is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Georgia RN licensure required; BCLS required.
• New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Education

Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
