Job summary

Eastside Medical Center in Georgia is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our team. The role covers nursing care from birth through the lifecycle and addresses operational needs during shifts, providing clinical care as census demands.

You will collaborate with leaders, serve as a resource to staff, and contribute to exceptional patient outcomes. A valid Georgia RN license, BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and ongoing certifications are required for success.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Georgia (NLC/eNCL multistate licensure)
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• ACLS Certification Required (Cardiac Tele, Critical Care, Surgical Services including L&D)
• NRP required by end of orientation (Women\'s Services: Labor and Delivery, Mother/Baby, NICU, NAT, Nursery)
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program within 12 months of start date (Labor and Delivery) Required
• PALS if unit provides care to pediatric patients (Surgical Services) Required
• Labor and Delivery experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, as well as operational issues during his/her shift.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
• Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.

Education

Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing

Bachelor's Degree Preferred
