Job summary

George Washington University Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Labor and Delivery RN in Washington, DC, to join a premier team in a Level I trauma center.

The role requires DC RN licensure, ACLS/PALS (or within six months), and BLS, with preference for acute care experience and specialty-unit readiness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• ACLS or PALS (or obtained within six months of employment).
• BLS certification is required.
• Current state nursing license.
• Prefer one year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting.
• Specialty unit requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinically advanced childbirth services in Labor and Delivery.
• Collaborate with Advanced Practitioners and Providers.
• Support teaching and research initiatives in a university hospital setting.

Labor and Delivery

We provide clinically advanced, personalized childbirth services with a collaborative approach with Advanced Practitioners and Providers. As a teaching and research hospital, advanced science is accessible for the most challenging birth situations.

Qualifications
