Job summary

George Washington University Hospital in downtown Washington, DC, a 395-bed tertiary care academic medical center, is part of Universal Health Services (UHS). The Labor and Delivery team provides clinically advanced childbirth services, working with Advanced Practitioners and Providers.

Qualifications

• RN program graduate from an accredited or NLN-approved program.
• ACLS or PALS certification (or obtained within six months).
• BLS certification is required.
• Current state nursing license is active.
• One year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care.
• Specialty unit requirements may apply.

We provide clinically advanced, personalized childbirth services with a collaborative approach with Advanced Practitioners and Providers. As a teaching and research hospital, advanced science is accessible for the most challenging birth situations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• ACLS orPALS(or obtained within six months of employment)
• BLS
• Current state nursing license.
• Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.
• Requirements specified for specialty unit
