Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery unit. The role provides leadership in a fast-paced maternity setting, caring for antepartum, laboring, and post‑partum patients with LDR rooms, ORs, and PACU support.

The RN must hold PA licensure (or multi‑state eNLC) and CPR certification. Responsibilities include coordinating care, mentoring staff, and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction in a magnet‑designated hospital system.

Qualifications

• Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure through the eNLC.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in a professional practice setting.
• Coordinate nursing care for labor and delivery patients.
• Mentor and support LPN and support staff.
• Promote patient safety and high-quality care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team to evaluate clinical care.
