Job summary

Mercy Hospital Perryville seeks a dedicated Labor and Delivery RN to join our compassionate perinatal team. You will apply the nursing process to deliver patient care and coordinate with obstetric staff to support moms and babies.

A current RN license (state or compact) and graduation from an accredited program are required, with BLS certification. Mercy offers strong benefits, tuition support, and retirement plans for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) or within 30 days of hire
• Physical requirements: lift 50 lbs, prolonged standing/walking

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and teamwork in Labor & Delivery
