Job summary

Mercy Hospital Perry is seeking an RN for Labor and Delivery to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to mothers and newborns. Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma or BSN).
• Hold a current RN license in the hiring state (or compact licensure).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
