Overview:

We are a high-energy 18-bed unit providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care. The unit includes 8 LDRP rooms, 8 Postpartum/Post-op rooms, a Well-Newborn Nursery, and a Level II Special Care Nursery. Our services cover a range of obstetric care from uncomplicated vaginal births to high-risk pregnancies requiring tertiary care. We also care for post-op gynecological surgical patients. Nurses are encouraged to cross-train within the unit to enhance versatility and expertise.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
• Licensure: Current RN license in the state or valid compact license
• Experience: L&D or Mother/Baby experience preferred
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat
• Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion within 30 days of hire
• Other unit-specific certifications as required or obtained within the department timeframe
