• Associates Degree in Nursing or nursing diploma required.
• RN license in state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs and intervene to optimize outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient care plans and monitor outcomes with the interdisciplinary team.
• Perform therapeutic/diagnostic interventions including IVs, wound care, medications, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Maintain thorough, confidential patient charts and document status and outcomes; use IT to communicate and support decisions.
• Advocate for patient health and safety and protect patient rights.
• Provide patient/family education and assess learning readiness and effectiveness.
