Job summary

HCA Healthcare Colleton Hospital in Walterboro, SC is seeking a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for laboring mothers and newborns. You will collaborate with the health care team to promote positive patient outcomes.

You will provide age-appropriate care, participate in Shared Governance, and consider safety, cost, and practice impact in care delivery. The role supports professional growth within a 130+ bed acute care facility.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required or easily verifiable.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
• Advanced or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for laboring moms and newborns.
• Collaborate with health care team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide age-appropriate nursing care based on patient criteria.
• Participate in Shared Governance and unit meetings.
• Consider safety, cost, and impact on nursing practice in care planning.
