Job summary

LaborEdge, LLC seeks a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive obstetrical care from antepartum through neonatal phases, on a Labor & Delivery unit. The role emphasizes leadership, critical thinking and adherence to hospital policies while delivering safe, evidence-based care.

The RN will maintain licensure and competencies, collaborate with the care team, and support patient education and discharge planning in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Maintains certifications, education and development appropriate for position.
• Knowledge of standards and practice in nursing care as outlined by hospital policies.
• Ability to follow guidelines and protocols and to apply interim changes to care when needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in Labor & Delivery from antepartum through neonatal phase using the Nursing Process.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and supervise assigned staff.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, timely and compliant with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient/family education to support safe transitions.
