Job summary

Community Hospital of San Bernardino is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN to support expectant parents through the birthing process and postpartum recovery. You will provide bedside care, monitor fetal and maternal vitals, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, respectful delivery.

Per Diem RN candidates must have 2 years of L&D experience in an acute care hospital, a California RN license, and BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive bedside care during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As ourLabor & Delivery RN, you will helpexpectant parents and their newbornsnavigate the birthing experienceso they canachieve a safe, supported, and memorable delivery.

Every day you willprovide comprehensive bedside care during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.You will be expected tomonitor fetal and maternal vitals, coordinate multidisciplinary care teams, and act as a clinical leader by supervising unit operations and upholding the highest standards of patient safety.

To be successful in this role, you mustpossess extensive clinical knowledge of obstetric nursing, the ability to exercise expert judgment in high-pressure situations, and a dedicated commitment to the mission and core values of Community Hospital of San Bernardino.

Per Diem III Requirements:

Must agree to work 2 major holiday, 2 minor holidays,12 shifts per 6 week period and 4 of which shall be weekend shifts per 6 week period.

Job Requirements

• 2 year of Labor and Delivery experience in an acute care hospital is required for Per Diem RN
• California Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
