  • BLS and NRP certifications are mandatory.

Job Title – RN – Labor and Delivery (L&D)

Location – Indianapolis, IN

Pay – $2742 – $3002/wk

Schedule Details – Night, 4X12

Job Description –
IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour.
Position/Specialty: L&D RN
Shift Requirements: 3×12 or 4x12s
Years of experience REQ: 1.5 Years
First timers accepted: NO
Certs REQ: BLS, NRP. AWHONN Beginner preferred.
Locals accepted: NO
Floating Requirements: May float to Methodist Hospital ED – will not take primary assignment, will provide OB-specific care alongside a primary RN. On first shift at Methodist, nurse is asked to arrive 30 minutes early for quick orientation to unit and supplies.
Pending License accepted: No. IN-STATE LICENSE / REQUIRED CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUB.
RTO Restrictions: Must work 2/3 major holidays.
Guaranteed Hours: 8 and 10 hr. shifts – 40 hrs. in one workweek. 3, 12 hr shifts – 36 hrs. in one workweek. 4, 12 hr. shifts – 48 hrs. in one workweek.
Special Requirements: L&D Travel experience, Circulate for C-section.
Unit Information: L&D patients.
Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RNs to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). **Periop/OR RNs, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS**
