Softpath Medical is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Job Description & Requirements

• Hours per week: 48
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Travel

Now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 rate bump per hour.

Position / Specialty: L&D RN

Shift Requirements: 3x12 or 4x12 shifts

Years of experience required: 1.5 years

First timers accepted: No

Certifications required: BLS, NRP. AWHONN Beginner preferred.

Locals accepted: No

Floating requirements: May float to Methodist Hospital ED—will not take primary assignment, will provide OB-specific care alongside a primary RN. On first shift at Methodist, nurse is asked to arrive 30 minutes early for quick orientation to unit and supplies.

Pending license accepted: No. IN-STATE LICENSE / REQUIRED CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUBMIT.

RTO restrictions: Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Guaranteed hours: 8 and 10-hour shifts—40 hours/week; 3x12 shifts—36 hours/week; 4x12 shifts—48 hours/week.

Special requirements: L&D travel experience, circulate for C-section.

Effective 11/30/24, facility will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities (see exceptions below).

• Periop / OR RN’s, Allied, and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS.
