Job summary

Los Robles Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery registered nurse to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced obstetric setting. You will assess, plan and deliver tailored care, collaborating with physicians and the broader team to ensure safety and positive outcomes.

Requirements include California RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, NRP, AFM, and 1–2 years of acute care experience, preferably in Labor & Delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current California Registered Nurse License.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of acute care experience, prefer previous Labor & Delivery experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP and AFM certifications.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with physicians about changes in patients’ clinical condition.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Act as the patient’s advocate when needed.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a highly skilled, compassionate Labor and Delivery registered nurse to deliver exceptional direct patient care in our Labor and Delivery setting. In this role, you will provide assessment and planning for individualized patient care. • You will communicate with physicians about changes in patients’ clinical condition
• You will respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment
• You will act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure
• You will perform general nursing duties in all Maternal Child Health departments with adequate supervision
• You will maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts
• You will participate in performance improvement activities
• You will act as the patient’s advocate, as circumstances require

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
• Current California Registered Nurse License
• A minimum of 1-2 years of acute care experience, prefer previous experience in Labor & Delivery
• Current BLS required
• Current ACLS required
• Current NRP required
• Current AFM required (Advanced Fetal Monitoring)
