Job summary

The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital in Miami, FL provides direct patient care using the nursing process. You will collaborate with the care team, ensure patient safety, and support family-centered care in a busy obstetric unit.

  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • 1 year minimum acute care experience as a RN

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process. The RN assumes other duties specific to the Unit and job status and follows the policies and procedures of Kendall Regional Medical Center.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
