Job summary

Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, patient-centered care within the L&D department. You will coordinate care planning with multidisciplinary teams and lead the healthcare staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes adherence to professional standards, service excellence, and clinical leadership to support a safe and positive experience for patients and families undergoing childbirth.

Qualifications

• RN with state license to practice in Texas (TX RN license)
• Current BLS, ACLS and NRP required; AWHONN certification preferred
• Experience: three years in Labor & Delivery or related field
• Ability to present information clearly to managers, customers and public, and to analyze data and problems

Qualifications

• License: Must have current Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas. Current BLS, ACLS and NRP required. AWHONN certifcation preferred.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. BSN is preferred.
• Experience: Three years of L&D or related Registered Nurse experience required.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and general public. Ability to calculate figures and amounts. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Provides care appropriate to the age of the patient served.
