The role covers OB nursing duties, epidural support, fetal monitoring, medication administration, and education while upholding safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in clinical nursing in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care according to nursing process and policies.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings; reports changes to care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency level.
• Educates patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions.
• Maintains infection control protocols and monitors equipment for safety.
