Description:Looking for an OB/L&D Registered Nurse to join the team.The role involves working 3 shifts of 12 hours each.The nurse must have ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring certifications.Competency in antepartum, labor and delivery triage, postpartum care, and nursery skills is required.Responsibilities include supporting patients throughout labor and delivery, conducting assessments, and providing educational support during the postpartum phase.The nurse will also be involved in the triage of obstetrical patients and the use of external fetal monitoring.Interdisciplinary support is available from various services including respiratory assistance, social services, and pharmacy.Travelers must be committed to working holidays as required by the facility.The unit cares for a range of patient age groups which includes neonates, adolescents, and adults.Patient ratios on days and nights are typically around 4:1.This position requires a commitment to patient-centered care and attention to detail in a dynamic environment.
