Cynet HealthStaff seeks an experienced RN in Labor & Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana. You will work 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, in a unit featuring 15 L&D beds, a 20-bed High Risk Unit, and 8 OB Triage beds.

Description:Level IV brand new Women & Infants Client.Seeking a level IV trained Labor & Delivery nurse.The unit includes a 15 bed Labor & Delivery, 20 bed High Risk Unit, and 8 bed OB Triage.Must be familiar with Magnesium and insulin drips.Advanced NRP certification is required, along with advanced external fetal monitoring skills.There may be a possibility to float to another Labor & Delivery unit if needed.The unit adheres to guidelines, ensuring 1:1 nursing care during active labor and two patients are assigned during early and latent labor.The role involves serving as a charge nurse in both Labor & Delivery and the high-risk unit, as well as a baby nurse during deliveries.The schedule includes 36 hours per week, every third weekend, with a holiday rotation.Candidates must be committed to working, as there is no tolerance for calling in.
