Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) for a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. You will work 3x12 hour night shifts, providing vital care for expectant mothers during labor and delivery, while ensuring adherence to the highest standards of medical practice.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of L&D experience, and hold an AK RN license along with necessary certifications. The position offers comprehensive health benefits and various travel-related perks to support your career.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• No first-time travelers accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, administering appropriate medications and interventions as needed.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and triage in the labor and delivery unit.
• Facilitate communication with families and medical staff regarding patient care plans.
• Conduct thorough documentation utilizing electronic health records (Epic).

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on high-risk labor and delivery and will utilize advanced nursing techniques to ensure the highest quality of care for mothers and newborns.

• Provide care for expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current AK RN license required for auto offer.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, NRP.
• No first-time travelers accepted.
