Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery unit in Denver, Colorado. This 13-week contract position requires a skilled RN to provide high-quality care to mothers and newborns during delivery. The role includes performing deliveries, monitoring patient vitals, and providing education to families. Applicants must have a valid RN license and at least one year of acute care experience, along with certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN or EFM. Job Description

The Labor and Delivery unit is seeking a skilled Travel Registered Nurse to join their dynamic team. As a member of our L&D team, you will provide high-quality care to mothers and newborns during delivery and assess the health of these patients before, during, and after labor.

Responsibilities

• Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
• Conduct assessments and monitor patient vitals in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Administer medications and IV fluids as needed.
• Provide post-operative care for surgical patients.
• Educate and support families during the childbirth process.
• Handle high-risk obstetric patients with specialized attention.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a current RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care hospital experience as an RN.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and either AWHONN or EFM.
• Preferred experience in a travel role and with Meditech EMR.
