Job summary

Cincinnati Children's Office of Academic Affairs and Career Development is seeking an RN Kidney Transplant Coordinator to manage the full continuum of care for pediatric kidney transplant patients and living donors. You will coordinate medical, surgical, and psychosocial care with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires RN licensure in Ohio, 5+ years of clinical nursing experience in transplant or related fields, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field required.
• Active RN license in the state of Ohio required (or ability to obtain).
• Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in transplant, nephrology, or critical care.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outpatient care to optimize transplant recipient recovery and quality of life.
• Assist in evaluating and managing patient adherence to treatment and medications.
• Identify complications and coordinate interventions with the transplant team.
• Schedule diagnostics, hospital admissions, and emergent evaluations.
• Maintain detailed electronic health records and act as liaison between patients, families, and providers.
