Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced RN for Interventional Radiology in Richardson, TX. This 13-week assignment requires 2 years IR experience, a current RN license, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS, with day shifts and 10-hour shifts.

You will provide bedside nursing care for IR procedures, monitor during sedation, manage activated clotting time, and assist with procedures such as nephrostomy and central venous access. On-call weekends and travel experience are required.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.

Responsibilities

Description

Responsible for providing nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.Must have experience with activated clotting time, angioplasty, central venous access, and procedural sedation management.Will monitor patients during sedation and assist in procedures such as nephrostomy, paracentesis, and pulmonary embolization.Knowledge of radiation and laser safety protocols is essential.Candidates must be proficient in using Epic for charting.Expected to work approximately 10-12 days each month including call coverage.Weekend coverage is required with a minimum of one full weekend per month.Must adhere to facility policies and procedures regarding patient care and documentation.Candidates with military experience are accepted.Billable modules may be required prior to starting the position.All requests for time off must be approved in advance.Must have a state-issued ID prior to beginning the role.Candidates living within a specified radius will be considered local.Medical or religious exemptions for the flu vaccine are allowed.
