Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an Interventional Radiology RN to deliver patient care within the IR team. You will evaluate health, identify issues, create care plans, and monitor responses while helping patients navigate their care.

The role requires RN licensure, 2 years ICU/ED experience, and BLS certification, with day shift 9:00am–7:30pm and call rotation; candidates must live within 30 minutes of the facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• Registered Nurse with active license.
• At least 2 years of ICU or ED experience.
• BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans for IR patients.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety.
• Educate patients and families and promote team learning.
• Collaborate with the health care team to implement cohesive care plans.
• Identify limited resources and prioritize safety and efficiency.

Job Summary

As an Interventional Radiology RN, use nursing expertise to deliver patient care with the healthcare team. Tasks include evaluating health, identifying issues, creating care plans, and tracking treatment responses. Help patients navigate their healthcare safely. Use knowledge of needs to prevent issues.

• A basic understanding of the patient care practices, medical terminology, medications, and equipment used in interventional radiology nursing.

• The ability to track changes in patients' health and communicate clearly with nurses and doctors.
• Basic computer skills, particularly knowledge of electronic medical documentation systems and email.
