Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an Interventional Radiology RN for day shift (7:00am - 5:30pm) with call rotation. Must live within 30 minutes for call. You will deliver patient care using nursing expertise as part of the healthcare team, addressing health status, planning care, and monitoring treatment responses.

Requires RN license and ICU/ED experience. Benefits include immediate eligibility for health benefits, 401(k) with matching, tuition reimbursement, and PTO from Day 1.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program; RN license.
• 2 years’ ICU or ED experience required.
• BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care with a focus on interventional radiology patient needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans and document progress.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and advocate for safety and quality care.
• Educate patients and families, and support nursing staff development.

Job Summary

As an Interventional Radiology RN, use nursing expertise to deliver patient care with the healthcare team. Tasks include evaluating health, identifying issues, creating care plans, and tracking treatment responses. Help patients navigate their healthcare safely. Use knowledge of needs to prevent issues.

• Prioritizing patient and family needs is crucial. Responsibilities involve developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans. Adjust as needed.

• A basic understanding of the patient care practices, medical terminology, medications, and equipment used in interventional radiology nursing.

• The ability to track changes in patients' health and communicate clearly with nurses and doctors.
• Basic computer skills, particularly knowledge of electronic medical documentation systems and email.

Qualifications
