Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Ithaca, NY, responsible for coordinating outpatient and inpatient services within Imaging Services. This dynamic role involves assessing, planning, and implementing patient care across multiple campuses.

The RN will conduct preadmission assessments, provide post-procedure care, and monitor quality standards of care. This is a 13-week contract position with various health benefits and support for clinical needs.

Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• Required immunizations, including MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, and TB test.
• Certification in relevant areas may be required based on facility protocols.

This is a professional position responsible for the coordination of outpatient and inpatient services within Imaging Services. The Registered Nurse (RN) will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate services provided for patients across various campuses. This dynamic role requires functioning as a procedure nurse while supporting all clinical needs of patients utilizing Imaging services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preadmission nursing assessments and testing for inpatient and outpatient procedures.
• Coordinate procedures with physicians and other groups as appropriate.
• Provide post-procedure care and assessment for patients.
• Promote quality patient care by establishing and monitoring standards of care.
• Support the established Breast Navigator program and Lung Navigation program for efficient patient movement through procedures.

Schedule

This position operates on a schedule from 07:00 AM to 05:00 PM.

Located in Ithaca, NY.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
