Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care is seeking an RN to provide direct patient care in an Internal Medicine setting, assessing and planning care for a diverse patient load. You will work on an 18-bed Med/Surg unit, educate patients and families, and coordinate with the interprofessional team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred for enhanced clinical scope.
• Current RN license in good standing with no sanctions.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg unit, assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care.
• Collaborate with an interprofessional team to develop individualized care plans and ensure safety.
• Educate patients and families on health needs, post-treatment care, and follow-up requirements.
• Engage in professional development and safety initiatives to promote a healing environment.
