Job summary

Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Intermediate Progressive Care Unit. This fast-paced team cares for post-surgical and medical short stay patients across acuity levels.

The RN in the Intermediate PCU will build meaningful connections with patients under supportive leadership that encourages growth and a strength-driven career path. Night and weekend differentials are included as part of the shift details.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in applicable state.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• Associate Degree required for RN position.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to guide patient care.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other patient care staff; coordinate care plans.
• Collaborate with health care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes; adhere to policies and guidelines.
