Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is actively seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Progressive Care Unit. You will care for post-surgical and medical short-stay patients in a fast-paced setting, collaborating with a supportive leadership team focused on growth.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Missouri with current NURSYS verification.
• Associate degree in nursing or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is hiring for an experienced Registered Nurse to join their Intermediate Progressive Care Unit. This nursing team provides care to post-surgical and medical short stay patients in a fast-paced environment with various acuity levels. This Registered Nurse position on the Intermediate PCU will allow you to build relationships with your patients in a positive environment led by supportive and engaging leadership that believes in developing a strength driven career path. Shift Details:

Day shift 6:45 pm to 7:15 am

This position comes with night and weekend shift differential.

The Work:

• Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
• Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
• Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines.

Job Requirements:

• Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
• Associate Degree - Nursing
