FirstHealth of the Carolinas in central North Carolina seeks a Registered Nurse to join the 12-bed Reid intermediate care unit, caring for patients with moderate to severe medical and cardiac diagnoses including sepsis, acute respiratory failure, and ACS. Responsibilities include titrating cardiac drips, continuous monitoring, and assisting with bedside procedures such as transesophageal echocardiograms and cardioversions.

Qualifications

• Valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License
• BCLS required
• Experience preferred

Responsibilities

2Reid is a 12-bed intermediate care unit specializing in the care of patients with moderate to severe medical and cardiac diagnoses such as sepsis, acute respiratory failure, diabetic ketoacidosis, NSTEMI, atrial fibrillation/flutter and CHF. Nurses on this unit utilize a broad skill set, initiate and titrate drips that require cardiac monitoring and assist with bedside procedures such as transesophageal echocardiograms and cardioversions.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License
• BCLS required
