Job summary

UW Health's University Hospital in Madison seeks a Registered Nurse to provide specialized post-transplant care for kidney, pancreas, and liver recipients, working with donors and recipients nationwide. Evening/night shift, 90% FTE, one in three weekends, holidays as needed.

Qualifications

  • BSN preferred.
  • Six months nursing experience or current participant in UW Health's Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of orientation.
  • Licensed RN in WI or license under nurse licensure compact. Required.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification. Required.

90% FTE, evening/night shift. One in three weekend rotation. Holiday rotation. Hours based on operational needs of the department. Working at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

About the Team

Our renowned Transplant team seeks compassionate and skilled nurses to join. We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care to post‑transplant patients with kidney, pancreas, and liver transplants, empower patients, support them, work with recipients and living donors nationwide, and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
Work Experience
  • Six months nursing experience or current participant in UW Health's Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the orientation. Required.
  • Relevant RN experience preferred.
Licenses & Certifications
  • Licensed RN in WI or license under nurse licensure compact. Required.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification. Required.
  • Relevant certifications preferred.
