Job summary

Freeman Health System in Missouri is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for full time night shift within the Rehabilitation Unit. The RN will assess and address physical, emotional and psychosocial needs, implement care plans, and monitor outcomes for patients across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities include coordination with the medical plan of care, timely interventions, and ensuring high quality, safe care.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri RN license or compact state license required.
• New grads may be considered with orientation and supervision.
• Must pass Patient Care Orientation if no recent hospital experience.

Responsibilities

About Us - Rehabilitation Unit

• Freeman Rehabilitation Services offers inpatient and outpatient occupational therapy in multiple locations
• Occupational therapists work with patients to improve their ability to perform tasks in living and working environments
• Occupational therapists use their expertise and knowledge to help with both recovery and adaptation
• Patients receive occupational therapy in a number of settings including acute care, home healthcare, pediatrics and work performance rehabilitation

What You'll Do

In Conjunction With The Medical Plan Of Care, Independently Performs Systematic And Continuous Assessment Of The Physical, Emotional, Clinical And Psychosocial Needs Of Assigned Patients And Families; Plans And Implements Appropriate Interventions; And Evaluates Effectiveness And Adjusts Plan As Indicated In A Timely Manner In The Provisions Of Safe And Effective Care.

Requirements

Current Missouri Registered Nurse License Or Current Registered Nurse License From A Compact State. If A Compact License Is Held, It Must Be In The Nurse State Of Residence.

If No Experience As An RN Or LPN In A Hospital Setting Or It Has Been More Than 5 Years Since Last Worked In A Hospital Setting, Nurses Must Successfully Pass Patient Care Orientation (PCO) Within 30 Days.

Continuing Education

• Aha Bls For Healthcare Providers Number Of Days: 60
• RN Competency Day Annually By Transcript Due Date.
