Job summary

Northwest Health - Portage is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time day shifts in the Inpatient Rehab Unit. The position offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour days from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care required.
• RN license in good standing for Indiana.
• BCLS required; ACLS/PALS and NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Document accurately and report changes to care team.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and teams to develop care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR and code team activities.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post‑discharge care.
