Job summary

Loyola Medicine in Berwyn, IL seeks a Registered Nurse for our 20-bed Acute Rehab Unit, caring for stroke, neurological, transplant, orthopedic, cardiac and complex medical-surgical patients 18+. The unit offers close patient interaction and a focus on recovery, with shifts that support work-life balance.

Requirements include an ADN from an accredited program, BLS (AHA) prior to hire, Illinois RN license, and 1 year of experience preferred (new grads welcome).

Qualifications

• ADN Diploma from an accredited program.
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification required prior to hire.
• Illinois Registered Nurse license required prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on the Acute Rehab Unit with a focus on patients 18+.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to therapies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Support patient and family education and transitions to recovery.

Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Join our team as we seek a Registered Nurse to work on our Acute Rehab Unit. 20 bed Certified Acute Rehab Facility specializing in Stroke, Neurological, Transplant, Orthopedic, Cardiac and complicated Med Surg patients ages 18 an older. The average length of stay for patients is 2-3 weeks offering the opportunity to connect and build relationships with patients on their road to recovery.

ADN Pay Range: $32.90 - $57.06 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
