Job summary

One GI, LLC is seeking a compassionate Infusion RN for our Englewood, OH location within Dayton Gastroenterology. You will deliver infusion therapy, monitor patients during administration, and provide education to patients and families.

This role emphasizes collaboration, high-quality patient care, and adherence to privacy policies. ACLS certification is required, with RN licensure and a willingness to develop GI-specific knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
• ACLS certification required.
• Willingness to obtain advanced GI knowledge and work in GI setting.
• Strong communication and tact in fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Place IVs and administer IV medications as ordered.
• Monitor IV meds and tubing; assess patient response.
• Perform injections and phlebotomy as needed.
• Educate patients and coordinate with care teams.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with crash cart as needed.

Refer a friend who’d be a great fit for One GI and earn a special bonus when they join the team!Snapshot of Daily Duties:Infusion RN will place IV’s.Administer IV medication, and fluids as ordered.Monitor patients’ IV medications and tubing.Give intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as ordered.Perform phlebotomy as needed, or as prescribed/ordered.Monitor patients during infusion and discharge patients as policies indicate.Provide patient education and instruction.Communicate with patients as applicable.Maintain patient centered data in a neat and organized manner including chart entries, documentation, or communications to be sent externally.Comply with adverse event reporting and patient privacy policies.Maintain accurate and complete records, documenting all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient response.Respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations requiring immediate medical intervention. Initiates emergency measures as needed. Assist with maintenance of crash cart.Education and Qualifications:Registered nurse. Membership in local, state, and national societies is encouraged.Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification required.Solid nursing background, concentration, or willingness to obtain advanced knowledge in GI specialty.Priority setting, application of judgment, communication skill and tact.Occasional travel to the Beavercreek location
