Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with physician orders and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Georgia RN licensure in good standing, and BLS certification; a BSN is preferred and two years of RN experience plus additional life-support or clinical certifications are valued.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certification in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred with two years of RN experience and additional life-support or clinical certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and within the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
