Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior experience in infection control or long-term care is valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention programs per CDC/CMS/NYSDOH.
• Conduct surveillance of infections and analyze trends to prevent outbreaks.
• Educate staff on infection control practices, including hand hygiene and PPE.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and prepare for inspections.
• Investigate outbreaks and collaborate with leadership to promote best practices.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to infection control.
