Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit. This full-time role requires providing safe, compassionate nursing care, applying the nursing process, and coordinating with the healthcare team.

Candidates must graduate NLN-accredited nursing program, hold IL RN license, and BLS/CPR; with 1 year acute care or ISCU experience. BSN preferred. Shifts 0700-1930 and 1900-0730 with weekend rotation; hourly pay $37.25-$57.74.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN accredited nursing program required.
• BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Provider required (AHA).
• Current IL RN licensure required.
• 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year ISCU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Promote high quality patient experience and safety outcomes.

Hourly Pay Range: $37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position: Registered Nurse – Infant Special Care Unit

Location: Evanston, IL

Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 36 hours per week

Hours: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730, with weekend rotation

Float: when needed

What you will do:

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What you will need:

• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required (from AHA)
• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Experience: 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year ISCU experience preferred
• Unique or Preferred Skills: NICU/ISCU experience
