Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an RN for the Infant Special Care Unit (ISCU) in Evanston, IL. This full-time role requires 1 year of acute care or ISCU experience and IL licensure, with BSN preferred. Weekend rotation and 36 hours weekly schedule are included.

Responsibilities include independent ISCU nursing, using the nursing process, supervising unlicensed staff, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality care. BLS/CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• NLN-accredited nursing program completed.
• BLS/CPR certification required (AHA).
• Current IL nursing license.
• 1 year acute care or ISCU experience.
• NICU/ISCU experience preferred.

• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.

• Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experience.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Position: Registered Nurse ? Infant Special Care Unit

• Location: Evanston, IL

• Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 36 hours per week

• Hours: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730, with weekend rotation

• Float: when needed

What you will do:

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU

• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care

• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care

• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care

• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What you will need:

• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred

• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required (from AHA)

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required

• Experience: 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year ISCU experience preferred

• Unique or Preferred Skills: NICU/ISCU experience
