Job summary

Apploi is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) in Cozad, NE to join our skilled nursing facility team. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, administer medications, and coordinate with physicians, therapists, and staff to optimize resident outcomes.

The ideal candidate has ADN or BSN, NE RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS is preferred. Experience in long-term care is desirable. This on-site role requires strong clinical skills and a commitment to resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Requires ADN or BSN from an accredited program.
• Current RN license in NE.
• Experience in skilled nursing/long-term care preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessments, treatment planning, and medication administration.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans.
• Communicate with residents, families, and health team to provide updates.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic records.
• Mentor and supervise LPNs and CNAs to ensure adherence to protocols.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and infection control.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies with clinical judgment.
• Participate in weekend, night, and holiday on-call rotations.
