Job summary

Star Clinic LLC seeks a Nurse/Registered Nurse to join our Urogynecology practice. You will create and manage a plan of care for individual patients, using current nursing practices to support patient well-being and comfort.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, assisting doctors with procedures, triage calls, med refills, lab result follow-up, in-office tests, and educating patients before and after procedures to ensure understanding and adherence.

Qualifications

• Office experience in a medical/clinic setting is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and client care skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments: obtain medical histories, record vitals, document allergies and medications.
• Assist doctors with minor in-office procedures and exams.
• Handle patient phone calls, triage, and follow-up messages.
• Manage prescription refill requests.
• Call patients with lab results.
• Perform in-office diagnostic testing.
• Deliver pre- and post-procedure education and discharge instructions to ensure understanding and compliance.
• Accurately document treatments, consent, and clinical notes in the electronic medical record and communicate follow-up plans to patients and providers
