Job summary

The-Urology-Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to assess patient health, develop and implement care plans, and maintain medical records in our clinic setting in Ohio.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the healthcare team, administering medications, documenting in the EMR, and educating patients on health topics. A valid RN license and BLS are required, with ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license with state credentialing.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• 1–2 years clinical experience; urology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient problems and determine disposition in clinic and over the phone.
• Document communications in the EMR.
• Communicate treatment plan and lab/imaging results to patients; document accordingly.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions per provider orders.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Prepare rooms, equipment and supplies; maintain stock.
• Educate patients and families on health topics and disease prevention.
• Adhere to HIPAA and organizational compliance policies.
