Ochsner Health System in Louisiana is seeking a registered nurse for a 12‑week assignment. The nurse will lead patient care using the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards, delegating and guiding licensed and ancillary staff, and ensuring quality outcomes.

This job is typically a 12‑week assignment. The Nurse functions as a leader in the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. The nurse delegates, directs, and assists licensed and ancillary team members; assumes accountability for quality patient outcomes; demonstrates sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity; maintains involvement in activities toward unit and department strategic goals; and demonstrates professional responsibility and accountability for his/her own practice.
