This job is typically 8 weeks in length. Acts as a leader in patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. Effectively delegates, directs, and assists licensed and ancillary team members; assumes accountability for quality patient outcomes; exhibits sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity; maintains involvement in activities aligned with unit and department goals; demonstrates professional responsibility, accountability, and supports the company's nursing philosophy.
