Summary of Job Duties: This posting will be used to fill multiple positions. It involves temporary part-time PRN shifts, requiring work 36 hours/week for 13 weeks, with competitive hourly pay plus weekend differentials. Applicants must hold a valid Arkansas RN license, with at least 12 months of recent acute care hospital experience, including 6 months in a direct patient care role. Previous UAMS employment must have ended more than 180 days prior. Experience in specialties like ICU or surgical trauma may require passing a pre-screening test with at least 80% score. Oncology units may require chemotherapy certification.
Qualifications:
Preferred: 2+ years RN experience.
Employees must be capable of donning PPE including N95 masks, PAPR, or CAPR.
Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, coordinating care, triaging, collaborating with providers, facilitating appointments, and patient education.
Physical requirements involve frequent standing, walking, handling heavy weights, and working in a medical environment with potential hazards.
